About this event

After graduating from HKU, I went on to take a very unique and rare position as a Special Assistant to the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development in Egypt. Being the youngest person to ever hold this position in Egypt, I faced a very tough job working successfully in this new environment.

The time I spent there started as working directly by the minister’s side as a personal assistant, then moving on to strategic city planning with a McKinsey team we had hired. From there my role was upgraded to managing foreign consulting teams working on major national projects.
