Hossam Allam is Vice President for Energy and Infrastructure at Hassan Allam Construction where he oversees the Group’s investments in unconventional businesses. Previously to this role he spent 10 years at Shell International where he developed natural gas business across the Middle East and Asia. Hossam also founded Cairo Angels, Egypt’s first formal network of business angels that has invested almost USD 2 million in start-ups since its inception in 2011. He sits on the Advisory Boards of several NGOs including Education for Employment, National Employment Pact, and Endeavor Egypt. He has a degree in Ocean Sciences from Southampton University and a MBA from London Business School.
