Derek is a serial successful entrepreneur. Derek specializes in early stage tech, concept to commercialization, venture capital and financing.
He is currently the CEO and Co-founder of AtVenu, which has become the industry standard platform for maximizing live event merchandise revenue for touring musicians, record labels and venue/festival operators. Prior to co-founding atVenu, he was the co-founder and CEO of Tynt which was acquired by 33Across in January of 2012. During Derek’s tenure Tynt grew to be one of the 10 largest data aggregators in the world, working with over 600,000 publishers world wide and seeing over 1.1 billion unique users.
When not founding and running start ups, he works with other entrepreneurs via mentoring through organizations like the C100.
