Having co-invented the "Snake-Board", listing it on the London Stock Exchange, then building GT40's and losing all his money, James then started a business with zero startup capital, zero debt and built up an order book of over 600 Million Rand. After years in the marine industry, James founded Nautic Africa which focuses on the manufacture of high quality aluminium vessels and other speciality custom commercial and Naval vessels. From its roots in Simon's Town Naval Dockyard, Nautic Africa now has a main production facility in the Cape Town Harbour, and caters for clients globally.
