Michael Terespolsky who resides in Cape Town started Col'Cacchio Pizzeria in 1992 with Kinga Baranowska. They subsequently opened two similar pizzerias in 1995 and 1996, trading as Morituri Pizzeria which they subsequently sold. It was Michael's vision to franchise Col’Cacchio pizzeria and this is where he has focused his attention for the last fourteen years. It is his vision to open a chain of restaurants that sell healthy simple food with no additives or preservatives, to match the lifestyle of the modern day customer, who feels that their health is a way of life. It is in this vein that he strives to grow.
For five years prior to this he had a company Teremed Distributors selling industrial and corporate work wear and uniforms and a company JDM Trading that sold refurbished office automated equipment. With the exception of a one year stint at Standard Bank Michael has always owned and run his own businesses.
Michael is an entrepreneur who has the ability to identify an opportunity and act on it. He developed and started the Nu Health Café brand in 2013 with his fellow Col’Cacchio directors which they subsequently sold last year. He is the face behind the Col’Cacchio pizzeria brand and is always seeking to grow it. Col’Cacchio currently has 30 stores and is on track to reach the 40 store mark in the next 12 months.
