Born in Zambia, Brad and his brother, Brett, realised that there was a tremendous opportunity to take a mixture of technology and entrepreneurial spirit to attract a committed team of employees to address the challenge of increasing financial inclusion in Zambia.

Following a challenging start the company was able to close a $4 million investment deal in early 2012.

in 2016, Zoona raised $15 Million in a Series B funding round.

In the last 90 days 1.5 million Zambians and Malawians have sent or received over $75 million through Zoona 1,400 agents. Zoona has invested over $1,000,000 in working capital and liquidity services for agents, a strategy that has created almost 2,500 jobs.
