About Kieno Kammies:Kieno Kammies is not only a seasoned commercial Talk Show Host and music radio presenter with over two decades of experience but also a passionate advocate for innovation. In a recent career transition, he redirected his energy toward the realm of innovation and has since worked closely with some of South Africa's top entrepreneurs. Kieno's affiliations extend to Epicenter Stockholm, a leading innovation hub in Sweden. Moreover, he is the co-founder of Innovation City, based in Cape Town, alongside Stephan Eckbergh, a prominent travel entrepreneur in Africa. This venture is a collaboration with Epicenter Stockholm, further enhancing Kieno's innovation footprint.
Additionally, Kieno holds the role of Head of Culture for UCT Online High School, a role he undertook after being approached by Robert Paddock, co-founder of GetSmarter, which was later acquired by 2U. Following this, Paddock launched The Valenture Institute, which has been recognized as one of the world's top 10 Ed-tech companies by the World Economic Forum (WEF). This is now one of Kieno's esteemed clients.
Collaboration in innovation and revolutionizing educational outcomes are Kieno's chief passions, and he actively pursues these goals. His role as an MC predominantly centers on innovation in general, with a specific emphasis on restructuring innovation and educational outcomes.
