Juan is the founder of the Garzón Company and a Messaging Strategist who helps startups and entrepreneurs craft their brand story and develop strategies for growth. He has spent over a decade in marketing, starting his first company financing mobile homes in 2004 and then as head of marketing at a global market research firm where he helped grow revenues 400% in 3 years. Juan also speaks on branding, marketing and pitching, and he is deeply involved in the local startup community. He hosts Startup Weekend and PitchBreakfast, has spoken at Ignite Charlotte, has served as a speaking coach for TEDxCharlotte Education, serves as a mentor and facilitator for RevTech Labs/QC Fintech, Impact 3 and Impact U, City Startup Labs, and CLT Joules. Most recently, he and Vic Howie served as the emcees of the Wild Pitch event at Charleston's DIG South Conference.
