After completing his BE in Madurai Kamaraj University, he followed a typical corporate career with a job in HCL and then in Qualcomm for a total of three years, post which the entrepreneurial bug hit him. Along with his brothers, he started Vembu Systems which was later re-named Zoho - which they scaled to a global giant without any external funding. In 2004, he stepped down as President and COO of Zoho, and started Go Frugal. His new venture is an innovative point of sale solution for all retail shops and restaurant businesses, and has over 25,000 active clients. He scaled this venture from scratch again without any external funding.
