Raja Varatharaju is Founder/CEO of syona cosmetics, an angel funded startup which rose to top 3 in professional skin care cosmetics within 2 year of launch competing with many MNC’s in the field. Raja was awarded “Associate Entrepreneur of the year 2014 and CII startepreneur of the year 2014”.
Earlier as an entrepreneur, he scaled an advertising business multifold times and was doing management consulting on organisational restructuring for midsize companies in FMCG, realestate and consumer durables space. In his 16+ years career he has worked in companies like Henkel, Ford and Cavinkare in India and Asia Pac countries in the area of Strategy, Branding, Sales and Marketing.
He is known for high level of energy, with proven track record of leadership, new initiatives, commitment and integrity. He is a active charter member in TiE Chennai and does pro bono work with a few management institutes and startups.
