Paul Lee is the CEO and Co-founder of RONIIN.
Previously, Paul was a General Partner at Lightbank. While at Lightbank, Paul was a board member at Udemy, Sprout Social, Contently, Talentbin (acquired by Monster Worldwide), SkyVu Entertainment, and BabbaCo (acquired by Barefoot Books, Inc). He also led the firm's investment in DoubleDutch, ElaCarte, and Cleversense (acquired by Google).
Prior to his role at Lightbank, Paul was a founding Partner and Senior Vice President at the Peacock Equity Fund, a joint venture between NBC Universal and GE Capital. Peacock Equity's investments include Adify (acquired by Cox Communications), BigPoint GMbH (acquired by TA Associates and Summit), Rubicon Project (NASDAQ: RUBI), and Greystripe (acquired by ValueClick).
In addition, he is also an independent board director for Lifeway Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: LWAY) and an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He first started in digital media as part of the co–founding team of Click2Asia, a venture–backed online media company. Paul received a dual undergraduate degree in Mathematical Methods in Social Sciences (MMSS) and Economics from Northwestern University. In his spare time, Paul aspires to become a national champion in competitive BBQ where he relies on his Yoder Cheyenne Smoker.
Ryan Jeffery is a Co-Founder & Partner at Roniin, a company focused on connecting experienced CEO’s with emerging entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses. Previously, Ryan founded GrowthPanda, a high-impact consultancy firm dedicated to accelerating growth in nonprofits and social impact companies. Ryan was also an early founder of Belly, the world’s leading loyalty platform for retail businesses, where he worked as the VP of Business Development to grow all business avenues. Before Belly, Ryan worked at Lightbank where he focused on investing in consumer technology companies. Ryan received his degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and is currently an advisor for several companies in Chicago and San Francisco.
Kathryn Saluke is a Partner and Co-Founder at Roniin. Previously she oversaw operations at Lightbank and The Warehouse, a coworking space that housed over 30 funded tech startups. At Lightbank, Kathryn was responsible for all strategic partnerships that directly benefited portfolio companies including legal, HR and benefits, accounting and finance, and commercial real estate. Additionally, she focused on building up the entrepreneurial community in Chicago through hosting large-scale events. She likes reading, discovering new types of cuisine, and spending time on outdoor patios.
Arman Ghosh is currently a Partner and Co-Founder at Roniin. Previously he was the founder of GrowthPanda, a high-impact consultancy firm dedicated to accelerating growth in non-profits and social impact companies. Arman was also an early founder and the SVP of Sales at Belly (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, DAG Ventures and others) where he led all things acquisition for the company. Prior to Belly, Arman led sales and operations for Pawngo (Lightbank, Daylight Partners). He currently is an advisor to a number of startups across the country.
