For our next Startup Grind event, we’re hosting yet another interesting personality from the USA - Ian Mashiter. Ian is an experienced entrepreneurial educator, angel investor and currently the managing director of BUild Lab at Boston University. He is responsible for the entrepreneurship programs that the school runs as part of Innovate@BU. Ian is also a professor at Boston University.

For our next Startup Grind event, we’re hosting yet another interesting personality from the USA - Ian Mashiter. Ian is an experienced entrepreneurial educator, angel investor and currently the managing director of BUild Lab at Boston University. He is responsible for the entrepreneurship programs that the school runs as part of Innovate@BU. Ian is also a professor at Boston University where he teaches entrepreneurship, strategy and innovation to MBA and undergraduate students.
Previously, Ian was an entrepreneurial executive with more than 28 years of high-technology experience. He has raised $100 million in venture funding. Over his career, Mr. Mashiter has served as a board member, chief executive officer, and co-founder of such innovative telecommunications companies as Quarry Technologies, Ennovate Networks, Dymec, BMS, Nimbit, and Kenetic.
Currently, he provides advisory services to a number of high-tech start-ups and is a member of the Launchpad Venture Group & Hub Angel Group.
