Rotary Club of Chittagong Imperial, Club ID # 87957, RID # 3282, Bangladesh joined hands with Startup Grind Chittagong for organizing an workshop on: "Engagement Opportunities between Startups and Investors!"

The objectives of the workshop is to have dialogue between startups and prospective investors for helping young entrepreneurs scaling up their business, create employment opportunity and fund raising scope from investors.

In response to recommendation of previous workshop Rotary Club of Chittagong Imperial now take the lead to organize club projects for inspiring, educating and connecting the startups. Most of the startups are higher level students and unable to scale up their idea due to lack of finance. At the idea stage, it is very difficult to arrange institutional finance for scalling up the ideas and developing the projects. So most of the great and potential idea die at early stage.

On the other hand, some peoples interested to invest are unable to do so, due to lack of connections with suitable and profitable ventures. If the connection between startups and investors could be made through any suitable platform, the possibility of business growth will be higher. 

That's why in response to Startup Grind Chittagong chapter's persuasion Rotary Club of Chittagong Imperial become interested to partnering for organizing a club project on startups and investors  meetup and to have a dialog between them in view of finding a win win way for both the party. We also try to identify challenges and opportunities that startups have within the national and local startup ecosystem.

Club members of the Rotary Club of Chittagong Imperial including guests/members from other clubs, prospective investors, inventors, Startups will be present in the workshop and discuss about the business idea, success potentiality, feasibility, profitability and impact of this proposed projects. Startups also negotiate with prospective investors for fund raising issues.
