Marine Safety System achieved prestigious Export Gold Trophy from Bangladesh Government for five (5) times and Honorable Prime Minister handed over the trophy. Mr. G M Ali Chy and Mr. Kamal Ahamed are also awarded CIP (Commercially Important Person) status for their extraordinary contribution to countries economic growth.

Establishing Marine Safety System in the year 2003, these dynamic business leaders changed the dimension of ship nonferrous metal scrap business. While nonferrous metal scrap from ship breaking industry treated as neglected trading item by the business community, then both the business partners being highly educated started business with unrecognized and cheap nonferrous metal scrap item. These business leaders’ proved that integrity with proper planning and hard work can turn status and importance of a business. Now their processed products is being exported to 32 countries including USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Japan, Korea, China, UAE, KSA, India, Vietnam, Taiwan etc.

More than 350 personnel and workers are now directly employed in this industry. More than 150 scrap metal supplier working in back ward supply chain of the company.

Both the speakers not only created business idea for themselves but also encouraged others to come forward. Now approx 100 entrepreneurs doing business following their footsteps and a large number of workers and suppliers become involved in this trade.

Being inspired by of Mr. Gazi Mukarram Ali Chowdhury, both the dynamic leaders established two Ship Breaking Yard in 2004 where 15 vessels scraped and processed per year. In the year 2014 to feed growing and diversified demand of the importer they installed latest Metal Scrap Processing Plants and started producing diversified product made with bronze. Throughout their journey both the businessmen continuously faced lots of challenged situation and overcome with intelligence and courage.
