Blockchain is August's theme for all Startup Grind chapters across the world! Join us for a conversation with Adam Koehler, Co-founder of blockchain-powered real estate platform CPROP. Prior to CPROP, Adam served as Co-founder of dotloop, acquired by Zillow in 2015 for $108 million. We're kicking off the event with a special AMA session with Techstars Boulder Managing Director, Natty Zolo.
Join us for drinks, food, friend-making (aka networking), and an informative and entertaining conversation with Adam Koehler, Co-founder of blockchain-powered real estate platform CPROP.
Prior to launching CPROP and engaging in the ICO space, Adam co-founded real estate tech platform dotloop in 2008, which was acquired by Zillow in 2015 for $108 million. Adam is also founder of Reversed Out - a creative and technology firm focused on creative, branding, web design and application development.
Adam also founded CovWorx in 2016, a 20,000 sq. ft. co-working space in Covington, KY. Adam recently founded the Kentucky Blockchain Alliance, which aims to educate regulators, legislators, businesses and individuals about various blockchain tech as well as advocate for the Commonwealth as a hub for advanced technologies.
Adam will share insights and experiences from his journey growing up in the hardscrabble community of Price Hill - from starting out as a freelance designer to launching, scaling and selling DotLoop to launching CPROP to emerging as one of the region's most respected and sought-after authorities on blockchain. Adam recently spent time at Capitol Hill advising members of the US Chamber of Commerce on blockchain and the ICO space.
We'll be kicking off the evening by hosting a special AMA session Natty Zola, Techstars Boulder Managing Director and General Partner at Matchstick Ventures, where he invests in early stage technology startups in the Rockies, North and Midwest regions. Previously Natty was Head of Consumer Products for MapQuest, where he helped MapQuest return to profitability and year-over-year growth for the first time since 2007.
Before MapQuest, Natty was a founder of Everlater.com, a travel blogging platform and CRM system for tour operators, that participated in Techstars in 2009 and was acquired by AOL in 2012. He also graduated from GE's Financial Management Program and worked with Jim Collins on the best selling books "Great by Choice" and "How the Mighty Fall."
Natty is passionate about helping startups find product market fit, accelerate their growth, and develop company culture. His hobbies include mountain biking, reading business books, testing new apps, anything design related and gardening.
