When we asked Klaus for a bio he replied you can either write: "Handsome, young, charming man in his best years" or "Entrepreneur, executive and angel investor with 20 years of digital experience". In our unfortunately, still relatively few dealings with Klaus that's actually exactly how comes out.
When we asked Klaus Nyengaard a couple of weeks back for a bio, he replied we can either write "handsome, young charming man in his best years" or "entrepreneur, executive and angel investor with 20 years of digital experience".
The longer story is: Klaus is a pretty successful entrepreneur, investor and leader of digital growth companies. He started his career as consultant with McKinsey & Company. Since the good old .com-days, Klaus has been involved in various digital growth projects - pretty much everything from green-field start-ups to corporate spin-offs. Some didn't work at all, some worked very well, most notably JUST EAT, which he over 5 years took from a small, 45-employee Danish company, to a profitable 1,000-employee world leader headquartered in London.
Today, Klaus is involved in various projects mainly based in Copenhagen and London, where he acts as angel investor and hands-on chairman. His most important growth project is his family living on a farm, far away from the hectic urban based start-up scene.
