We’re excited to kick off StartupGrind in Copenhagen in collaboration with Northcap on October 24th with non other than Copenhagen’s very own Thomas Madsen-Mygdal. Thomas Madsen Mygdal is an angel investor and a serial entrepreneur working behind many successful companies like 23, Podio, Holvi, Opbeat, Ezeep and the conference/festival Reboot. Thomas’ business card must look like a small book: Entrepreneur, serial entrepreneur, parallel entrepreneur, angel investor, chairman, board member, mentor, organizer and on and on and on. Despite his young age he has received countless lifetime achievement awards, but that doesn't seem to stop him. Designer, 'internet hippie', digital thinker, digital thought leader, activist, most likely the first blogger in Denmark etc etc. He seems to never use capital letters. He doesn't have a drivers license. He enforces the Silicon Valley investor view on startups 'Copenhagen-style' i.e. he should be able to bike around to the different startups he's involved in. And he's so damn modest. If ever there was a guy who should be exempted for judgment by the law of Jante - this would be that guy. Come and join us to hear his inspiring story on October 24!
