We strive to introduce technology into metropolitan areas that harnesses human energy in sustainable, environmentally friendly, positive and often untraditional ways. Gi FlyBike is the world's fastest, and most sophisticated electric bicycle. It is our first revolution.
I began to stutter when I was five years old. I would have a bout or two every other sentence or so. Beyond any social limitations or embarrassment that I accrued due to my stutter, the most frustrating thing, the thing that worried me most, was the amount of time I lost trying to relay my ideas to others.
Out of my frustration grew a tool or strategy, which I still use today, to fight off the stutter. A person who stutters can foresee the exact word that provokes the stutter before they ever actually stutter. Knowing this, I identify the problematic word and exchange it for a synonym before I falter or butcher a sentence. I stopped stuttering by the time I was 10 years old.
My stutter, the problem it posed to me, and the solution that I, successfully, counter-proposed not only symbolize my ability to problem-solve as an entrepreneur but also shed light on an important philosophy of mine...
If life is measured in and limited by time then we should fill it with things that provoke passion and love within us as well as generate lasting social impacts greater than us. The world's greatest treasures were built by people who spent time innovating and breaking barriers, each knowing that their role as creator was limited, defined and fixed.
I am currently on a mission to build the most dynamic team that I possible can, composed of interesting and hardworking people, each helping to solve their colleagues' metaphorical stutters. Time pressures me to do better.
