Alphonse Voigt is the Co-founder and CEO of EBANX, a Brazilian company that processes cross-border payments for hundreds of global merchants in Latin America. Alphonse is Brazilian, a lawyer by training, entrepreneur at heart and also a surfer, skydiver and spearfisherman.
The entrepreneur has a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná with a postgraduate degree in International Law, having a lawyer in large offices in Paraná. His taste for travel and extreme sports led him to undertake and Alphonse was the owner of a TV production company, where he worked for a few years in the area of communication in the sports market, as a presenter in Band Curitiba. In 2009, Alphonse founded a prepaid card company for online use which, in its few years of existence, was already one of the main payment providers in Latin America, with sales of over USD 3.5MM / month.
Determined to expand its operations, Alphonse sold his stake in the previous company, spoke with his friends John and Wagner and founded EBANX, a financial services company that offers local payment means for international sites such as Airbnb, Aliexpress and Spotify. Alphonse is a surfer and parachutist, training lawyer, entrepreneur since the age of 20 and fissured by adrenaline.
