Cynthia Bavo is the founder of MyJobPass, an Edtech startup on a mission to generate $1M in income for 5000 underrepresented job seekers in Tanzania. In fulfilling the startup's mission, Cynthia has overseen the training and development of 200+ rural women in Tanzania and Nigeria in preparation for entry level positions in sales in tech startups and in retail businesses.

Cynthia is also the former Startup Grind Dar es Salaam Chapter Director; a 2019 Injini Edtech Incubation Program Alumni; a 2018 Tony Elumelu Fellowship Alumni; and a 2017  Mandela YALI Fellowship Alumni.
