Joseph has a deeper understanding of political economies having worked in about 7 sub Saharan countries and 15 years of experience. He is currently serving as the country Director of Human Development Innovation Fund, a UKaid innovation programme in Tanzania with the mandate of acceleration innovation and funding innovative projects in Health, Education and WASH.
Tanzania has seen major transformation in its daily activities through innovation and technology in the past decade. To date, Startup Grind Dar has hosted 40 events with founders, educators, innovators, investors in tech and education to learn from their entrepreneurial journey and the businesses introduced.
HDIF seeks to accelerate the testing and a scaling of innovation and strengthening of the innovation ecosystem.
