Ng'winula or Unu is the co founder Ellipsis Digital, a software development company with visionary forward thinking and experienced developers based in Dar es salaam. He recently came up on #TOT discussions when Twitter introduced the voice note function because a few years back he had started Guumzo, a social network platform that let people air out their opinions through voice notes.
Startup Grind Dar is part of a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect business founders and entrepreneurs. We host monthly events that allow us to celebrate and learn from tech innovators, investors, startups, tech ecosystem enablers in Tanzania.
This month we are hosting Unu.
Ng'winula Kingamkono or Unu as popularly known, is an award-winning tech entrepreneur passionate about the global software industry and Tanzanian digital innovation space. He has a formidable background in Information Systems Analysis & Design with an interest in Internet of Things, Machine Learning/AI, Space Exploration, Real Estate & Food.
He's the founding half of Ellipsis Digital, an international software development company that helps European & African start-ups, businesses & organizations hire skilled software engineers.
Prior to Ellipsis, Unu had started a number of businesses building disruptive technologies like Guumzo, On Elimu and a few more.
