After 10 years of working for others, a few of us decided to form Madly, a marketing solutions company. Our aim is to solve digital marketing and marketing problems for companies big and small. Filled with madly passionate (See what I did there for the company name?) marketers, we tend to be slightly crazy on our good days and stark raving mad on the others.

I myself love to spend time with my son and cycle. Everything else comes after those two things. My dream is to go into retirement as fast as possible, lose a bit more weight and then go into amateur races around the world.

But what does all of this have to do with Startup Grind? Honestly, I have no clue. I actually told the organizers that I am not really a startup. Guess they did not believe me.

I can’t tell you about how to run a successful startup, because I am not one of them. But I can probably tell you about how you can’t run them, because failure stories are a dime a dozen with me.
