Rafael currently serves as the managing Partner of MetaLaunchers FZ-LLC operating in the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America. Prior to Joining the MetaLaunchers team, Rafael brings more than 15 years of experience from serving in the United States Marine Corps, working in international real estate tech sales, and Public Affairs.
In addition to his professional experience, Rafael joins us with over 6 years of entrepreneurial experience including co-founding 2 non-profits, and a political action committee.
Rafael’s notable affiliations include being an alum of the New Leaders Council, a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and an active member of the Prince Hall Fraternity.
Rafael enjoys working with teams that challenge him to think creatively to obtain solutions and pushes the agenda forward. His claim to fame is the ability to be able to foster and nurture relationships with individuals from all walks of life around the world.
In his free time, Rafael enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiujitsu, Muay Thai, and he travels the world to fuel his love for exposure to new cultures.

He started the first digital agency in the Middle East, Cyber Gear at cyber-gear.com in 1996.
In 2010, Cyber Gear started offering AI, Big data and other Fourth Industrial revolution technologies at cyber-gear.ai
In 2021, Cyber Gear entered the metaverse space and is offering solutions in the areas of Web3 and NFTs at cyber-gear.io

Sharad is also a Speaker at many international conferences on topics related to Metaverse and Web3.
