This September, our Co-Director David Scanlon will be joined in conversation with Áine Mulloy, Co-Founder and CMO at GirlCrew - a platform for women to make new friends, and participate in online group chat and offline events. GirlCrew has more than 100,000 members in over 50 cities worldwide, including Dublin, London, NYC, LA, Toronto, Edinburgh and Melbourne. This summer sees the app expand across 14 cities in the US, on the back of a €1m funding round. Born in London, but raised in Mayo, Áine has a background in the humanities. She completed her M.A. in Literature and Publishing from NUIG, before moving to Dublin to work with an award-winning contract publisher and events company. From there she took a role with Ireland’s leading educational publisher, and while in this role she completed a postgraduate diploma in digital marketing.
