Conall former Forbes 30 under 30 (not to be mixed up with Conall from Normal People) is the founder and CEO of Wia, a leading platform for developers building Internet of Things hardware. Wia provides a simple way for people and things to talk to each other with just a few lines of code. Wia has begun to develop products that help firms monitor and practice social distancing in the workplace. Wia have developed infrastructure for engineers to help them build sensor-based devices that could connect to the internet. The platform, called Wia Cloud, has been used by more than 70,000 developers worldwide. He is also involved with OSV - Open Source Ventilator Ireland Previously Conall was CTO of Big Motive, a creative technology company based in London and Belfast. There he architected and developed products for BBC, Net-a-Porter and Channel 4. He was also Technical Director of Woogie, an innovation consultancy who has worked with Cambridge Silicon Radio, Deezer and startups throughout Ireland. He attained a First Class Honours Masters from Queen’s University Belfast in Computer Games Development. Joining us from New York, is Alyssa Newcomb a seasoned journalist who regularly contributes at NBC News, The Today Show, Fortune Magazine and previously ABC News. Alyssa also speaks at conferences across the globe, and a big fan of Ireland.
