Recognised as one of Europe's most influential software innovators, Pat is an investor in, and advisor to, a number of technology companies globally.

A chef by trade, Pat opened a chain of internet cafes across cork in the early days of the internet, along with prepaid phone cards operating in 5 countries. Selling it all in 2007, Pat started roam4free to bring about an end of roaming.
