Aisha Pandor is a South African startup entrepreneur and co-founder of SweepSouth, an online platform for ordering and paying for home cleaning services within a few minutes. SweepSouth connects professional, experienced and insured cleaners with homeowners, Sweep South is South Africa’s only startup to have been accepted by global accelerator and the largest venture capitalist in the world - 500 Startups 500 Startups is a is lead by entrepreneur and angel investor Dave McClure, has invested in over 1 000 companies and has brought companies such as Behance (acquired by Adobe in 2012), Sunrise (acquired by Microsoft 2015), and Wildfire (acquired by Google in 2012). She studied at the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa, where she completed a PhD degree in Human Genetics and a Business Management certificate at the UCT Graduate School of Business. When she graduated in 2012 Aisha became the first student to graduate with two different qualifications on the same day. She also worked as a management consultant with Accenture. Aisha received a South African Women in Science Award in 2011 and was named in the Mail and Guardian's List of 200 Young South Africans in 2012.
