From a garage in Durban in 2012, to being one of the fastest growing fintechs in South Africa and now having over 360 employees spanning 3 continents, Matt and Ramsay have persisted and excelled in their entrepreneurial journey.
iKhokha is an SME- focussed financial services platform, which empowers entrepreneurs to accept both in person and online payments.
iKhokha recently won the Best Financial App of the Year Award at the 2023 MTN Business App Awards. In 2024, they reached a significant milestone, disbursing R2bn worth of working capital into the small business sector in South Africa. Their commitment to growing the startup ecosystem and assisting the underserved, self employed sector in South Africa is inspiring. They are on a mission to help entrepreneurs and SMEs to believe in better business, by investing in SME-focused financial services to introduce new and sustainable SMEs to the digital economy.
