The Honchos story began when he took over of an existing store in Langalibalele Street in the heart of the bustling KwaZulu-Natal capital, Pietermaritzburg The following three years saw an additional 3 stores being opened in the City and Honchos now boasts an impressive 51 stores throughout South Africa. Honchos, This rapid  and amazing growth happened in just a few years and Entrepreneurs could learn a lot about scaling and growth from him.

Imthiaz was a serial entrepreneur and was involved in mobile services  such as airtime and sim cards. He was also involved in property before he started Honchos.

With Imthiaz's intelligent business mind, Honchos quickly became a favourite in Pietermaritzburg  especially amongst the youth and University students who have loyally followed the brand from their formative schooling years.
