Who is Priven Reddy?

Priven Reddy is the Founder and CEO of Kagiso Interactive - regarded as one of the world leaders in advanced software development and consistently voted the best mobile applications developers in Africa. Kagiso currently has a presence in six countries. Priven grew from being a car guard, waiter and selling boxes to growing Kagiso Interactive to a value of R4 billion, owning 5 companies and employing 380+ employees.

He grew up in an area in Chatsworth that was notorious for poverty, alcoholism, drug abuse and crime. After his dad died as a child his family struggled to to meet ends needs. He finished high school, applied for jobs, but was turned down. With no support system or financial backing to study further, he took a job as a car guard as he needed to take care of my family. He then got a job as a waiter in a restaurant.

In 2006 Priven launched Kagiso Interactive after self learning graphic and web design in an era in he calls ‘the wild west days’ of the IT industry in South Africa. A few years later he moved the company to web and mobile  app development and by 2014 the Saudi Royal family contacted Kagiso , the company had built over 1 000 applications and had developed a strong reputation in the market.

He ended up getting a Bachelor of Computer Science with a focus on Augmented Reality.

Kagiso Interactive, which has regularly been voted as the Best Mobile Applications Development Company in Africa and the Middle East, has recently been touted as one of the leading companies globally to watch in the space of augmented reality (AR) , virtual reality (VR), Blockchain development, Machine Learning, , Artificial Intelligence, DEEP LEARNING, Parallel Algorithms, and Mobile Applications.

Today Kasiso also has clients such as the likes of Google and Marvel Comics, EA Games, Disney, MTN, Hulu, XBOX and KFC.

Priven also owns SA startup Krypteum - the world’s first A.I enabled investment cryptocurrency that has raised $1-million in an ICO. Krypteum was started when Priven realised that if he build a product that uses AI (artificial intelligence), the user doesn’t have to sit online 24 hours a day,

The coin uses A.I, deep learning and other machine learning models to go on it’s own to invest in multiple other currencies The coin  trades a portfolio of over 80 tokenized blockchain assets based on its own analysis without the need for human interaction, input or approval.. When the coins are performing well, it will invest and make money. When the price is volatile or there is a dip in the markets, it will disinvest.Analysts have said like having 100000 actuaries working for you per day and it’s what cryptocurrencies should have been from the start.

Depending on the kind of plan that a client signs with the platform, one can generate returns of up to 35%, with the platform taking a further 15% to 25% of returns on top of this. The platform also charges a one percent withdrawal fee.

The A.I technology is getting “smarter and smarter every day”. “When it misses something, it learns from it, almost like a life form” of its own. It analyses conventional indicators such as Fundamental, Historical and Technical analysis but extends to social media activity, activity of other traders, geo-political events and actual news sources such as CNN and Bloomberg.

Priven also founded  Dryvar, a local ride-sharing app, we immediately started engaging with the taxi association as well as Engage Beyond - which is a Virtual Reality company.
