Join us as we sit down with the co-founders of GrowthX a silicon valley based accelerator that works with startups, companies and countries to commercialize innovation. 70 percent of funded start-ups fail and eight of the top ten reasons why have nothing to do with technology or products. They have to do with markets and people. GrowthX was launched by co-founders Sean Sheppard and Andrew Goldner, to address this problem by building the world’s first seed-stage venture fund and start-up accelerator program. A program that is focused on developing markets and making money.
We will be asking them to share their insights on how to overcome the barriers of sales, how to develop your market as a startup and how to accelerate your business.
Sean is a versatile and experienced entrepreneur, co-founder of Silicon Valley Based GrowthX, who has successfully grown dozens of early-stage companies across a wide variety of products and markets. He was recently named the #2 Online Sales Influencer, contributor at The Huffington Post and guest lecturer at London Business School and Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management l. He’s now committed to working with countries, companies, entrepreneurs and those who want to work with them on building startup ecosystems and developing the next generation of leaders for the innovation economy.
Andrew has been in the technology sector since 1998. He began his career in technology as a lawyer for the early Internet pioneers such as Search (Alta Vista and Yahoo) and then moved into working alongside Silicon Valley’s Guidespark (an employee communication SaaS startup) and BrightTalk (a content marketing SaaS startup). He then co-founded GoodMoney to democratize high-performance, values-based investing. During that “wonderful learning opportunity,” Andrew met his current partners and co-founded GrowthX.
