We are hosting two African bred phenomenal women: Lelemba Phiri from South Africa, an award-winning educator, writer, keynote speaker and a gender-lens angel investor at Enygma Ventures with a focus on women entrepreneurs in Africa. She is also a director and shareholder at Zoona - a mobile payment business that enables the drive of young entrepreneurs and the power of cutting-edge technology to bring safe and reliable financial services to under-served communities all over Africa. A key stakeholder at Startup Circles - an online accelerator platform that fast tracks entrepreneurs to launch their businesses and access investors. Lelemba is passionate about women leadership, entrepreneur development in Africa and has committed her life's work to advancing equality and empowerment for women. Beverly Nicole from Kenya, founder Initiative for Her (I4Her) - a Nonprofit organization championing quality education for women and girls in the rural society - has a deep seated desire to see women and girls take up entrepreneurship in Kenya, and Africa at large. Through Initiative For Her, she provides safe spaces and mentorship programs for girls, providing clothing, learning materials and care packages to young girls, needy women, and persons living with disability. It will be a jam-packed session, diving deep into some of the brilliant minds on the continent. _They just happen to be women_ ;-) They'll be sharing the role they have played so far in putting Africa on the map, and what the future holds. Join us on Thursday 25th June from 2pm EAT (via Zoom) for an interactive, fun and scintillating discussion, co-hosted by Startup Grind Chapters from Eldoret, Kiambu and Nakuru, Kenya. Looking forward to E-meeting you.
