Cofounder and Conveyer, The Nigerian Diaspora Engagement Program (NGDEP) which serves as a channel for engagement with the Nigerian Diaspora community that are interested in making impact in Nigeria governance and seek to engage directly with the activities of the government despite living outside of the country. Our goal is to proactively develop a framework that puts in motion the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Bill which was signed into law in 2017 by the Nigerian government.
He has extensive knowledge of the general Bankness, financial services and technology sectors in Nigeria and the United States (US). He gives himself to bridging the gap between both markets.
He has over 8 years of banking experience in Lagos Nigeria, ranging from private, corporate, institutional and retail banking, after which he moved to the United States. An alumnus of Stratford University graduated with honors with a masters of Information Systems and Management also a certification from Yale University on Financial markets and a Professional Development Program on Creative Thinking and Innovative Solutions to Complex Challenges from Harvard University.
He is also a social influencer who is able to show many the similarities and difference between working on ground in African markets and in diaspora, and has experience working with corporations, governments, and international NGO's.
He played an integral role in various international projects, where he was able to navigate an instrumental role in seeing very large scales international project through, for which also he demonstrated strong access to international capital and funding, relationships with top corporations internationally and ability to work with politicians in West Africa. The Sokoto State Independent power project is one of such projects.
He is also a member of World Bank/IMF Young African Society and Forbes Fellow.
