Andreas Wolf is Chief Commercial Officer of Raisin Bank (https://www.raisin.bank). He is responsible for the strategic development of the business model, new products and Fintech cooperations as well as the development of the bank's IT stack.
Raisin Bank, formerly MHB-Bank, was acquired last year by the European deposit marketplace Raisin - known in Germany as WeltSparen. Raisin brokers deposits, investment products and pension products to more than 250,000 customers and currently operates eight European platforms. The Fintech is backed by investors like Ribbit, Index, Goldman Sachs and Paypal.
As a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) provider, Raisin Bank today supports cooperation partners like Raisin/WeltSparen, creditshelf, Exporo, Bergfuerst, Lonestar and other Fintechs, family offices and institutional investors. The bank's focus is on expanding its range of services, functional expertise and technological capabilities - with the aim of becoming a leading BaaS provider in Europe.
In addition to his work for Raisin Bank, Andreas is Head of Banking for Raisin. There, Andreas supervises the bank cooperations and the joint development of the service offering between Raisin Bank and Raisin/Weltsparen.
Before joining the Raisin family, Andreas worked as a research assistant in the field of educational research and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He was a Partner in the Frankfurt office, where he worked for banks and insurance companies throughout Europe and Asia. Andreas holds a degree in Psychology (Tuebingen, Jena, St. Andrews) and a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Jena.
