About Dr. Rose Yu
Dr. Rose Yu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego and an Amazon Scholar. She is a primary faculty member with the AI Group at UCSD. Her research focuses on machine learning for large-scale spatiotemporal data, with applications across scientific domains. Her contributions have earned her numerous honors, including the PECASE, DARPA Young Faculty Award, ECASE Award, NSF CAREER Award, Hellman Fellowship, and faculty awards from Sony, JP Morgan, Meta, Google, Amazon, and Adobe. She was also named one of MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35 for her pioneering work in AI.
