Startup Grind Gibraltar is partnering up with Entrepreneur and investor, Ryan Howsam who has 30 years’ experience as an entrepreneur, investor and mentor to offer a workshop on how to apply to his 90 day app as a beta tester and get the chance to be one of 10 startups to receive a group mentoring and one will be selected to receive a £5000.00 innovation Grant. Ryan is the founder and chairman of Staysure, the UK’s market leading travel insurance company which is consistently rated as one of the UK’s most trusted insurance providers. Ryan is also the group CEO of his own investment firm, Howsam Limited, which has seen him invest over £25 million in innovative ventures across the financial services, luxury, travel and tech sectors. 

With a keen eye for business opportunity, Ryan is an expert in helping businesses create unique spaces in their market. A key part of Ryan’s mentorship and his personal philosophy is 90 Days, his self-developed method for success, which has underlined many of Ryan’s achievements.  

Opening the event Ryan will give an introduction followed by a presentation by Caroline Lips, Senior Lead at Howsam Group who will be launching the 90 day method and App.

What is on offer?

A £5000 innovation grant is on offer to one of the 10 companies selected for the programme

Each company will receive group coaching from Ryan Howsam and early access to the new software

How many companies will be selected?

We will choose up to 10 companies who fit with the ethos and criteria

What is the application process?

After the workshop complete an application form. From this process they will make a shortlist of applicants who are then refined to 10.

What is required of companies?

If successful for the beta programme you must have time to attend the one hour group coaching calls, liaise with our team and give your feedback. Terms and conditions will include your use of the app, non competitive clauses, and non disclosure.

Selection process:

Initial questionnaire where you self appraise yourself and your company against different areas

Pre Kick off group call and on boarding with the 90 Days team

Group Kick off call with Ryan on Zoom where you will benefit from his business wisdom and sense checking your OKRTs

Short, fortnightly meetings with the 90 Days team

45 Day Group Check in with Ryan Howsam over Zoom

Interim questionnaires

Exit questionnaires and depth interview with the team about your experiences with the app
