Startup Grind Gibraltar, in collaboration with Young Enterprise Gibraltar, is proud to present the Pitch Battle – Junior Edition, a live entrepreneurial showcase designed to give students in Gibraltar the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and into a real business environment.

Taking place on 22nd April at the Borealis Room, Sunborn Yacht Hotel, the event builds on Young Enterprise Gibraltar’s wider mission to equip young people with practical financial and enterprise skills, while giving them the confidence to think bigger, communicate clearly, and back their ideas with action.

What makes this collaboration so valuable is that it does more than host a competition. It creates a visible and credible pathway between youth potential and Gibraltar’s business community. It allows young participants to experience the pace, pressure, and opportunity of a real pitch environment, while giving the wider community the chance to see firsthand the level of talent, creativity, and initiative being developed locally. The aim is not simply to choose winners, but to help shape future founders, stronger communicators, and more commercially minded young people.

Over the past year, Startup Grind Gibraltar has continued to strengthen its role as a platform that connects ideas, ambition and opportunity across the local ecosystem, while Young Enterprise Gibraltar has continued its work developing entrepreneurial thinking through hands-on learning and competition. This event brings those two strengths together in a way that is practical, energising, and rooted in local impact. It is a reminder that fostering entrepreneurship in Gibraltar starts early, and that when young people are given the right platform, support, and visibility, they are capable of far more than many expect.

The Pitch Battle – Junior Edition is therefore more than a student event.
