Our March event will be our Second Anniversary Celebration. Over the last two years we have hosted monthly events featuring politicians, startup, business, legal and education professionals from all over the world as well as our local community. Our Fireside Chats have been the first of their kind in Gibraltar followed by the networking drinks and nibbles that provide the perfect platform for attendees to find new opportunities. The continued support of our sponsors, partners and team are essential although most of all it is the attendees who enjoy our events every month that make it possible for us to be celebrating two years of Startup Grind Gibraltar. In the last 24 months 1323 people have attended our events. To mark this special month we want to support The Alameda Biodome & Education Project there are some incredible Gibraltarians working hard to make this a reality and we want to help. They will show us a presentation of the project and tell us more. Gamma Architects have produced the following concept visuals of what they are hoping will be the new and dedicated Education Zone. It will have a series of decking platforms, retaining the natural lay of the gardens underneath. The decking will support a Biodome, which is a growing arena and classroom. They also intend there to be a Resource Hub, Pond area, Sensory garden, Planting beds, wormery and bug hotel, and washing facilities. The whole area will be behind secure fencing, already installed in the Gardens, and will be wheelchair accessible. The area designated for the Education Zone is in the centre of the Gardens next to the Theatre, the Children’s Play Area and the bridge over The Dell.
