Six finalists. Six business ideas. One opportunity to take the next step.

Come and meet some of the people building the future of entrepreneurship in Gibraltar. Startup Grind Gibraltar's annual Build Local, Think Global Pitch Battle returns on Thursday 19 November, bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders, mentors and our wider community for an evening of ideas, innovation and opportunity.

This year's applications are already reflecting an interesting mix of industries and ambitions. From artificial intelligence, financial technology and regulatory solutions to health and wellbeing, education, astronomy and tourism, we're seeing entrepreneurs developing businesses that address real needs and explore new opportunities.

Some are already trading, others are building their first products or developing new concepts. What connects them is the ambition to build something meaningful, starting locally with the potential to grow beyond Gibraltar.

Meet the businesses before they pitch

From 5:30 pm, participating startups will have their own display tables, giving attendees and judges an opportunity to meet the founders, discover their products and services, ask questions and learn more about their businesses.

It's an opportunity to connect with the people behind the ideas, exchange feedback and perhaps discover a business you'd like to support, collaborate with or introduce to your own network.

Six finalists take the stage

Following the application and selection process, six finalists will be invited to present their businesses live to our judging panel and audience.

Each finalist will have the opportunity to explain the problem they're solving, demonstrate their business potential and share what they hope to achieve next, followed by questions from the judges.

Our judging panel will bring together experienced business professionals and entrepreneurs, with the official announcement coming soon.

Beyond the competition, the Pitch Battle is about creating visibility, encouraging entrepreneurship and making valuable connections that continue long after the event.

Why attend?

Whether you're an entrepreneur, investor, business owner, student, professional or simply curious about the businesses emerging from Gibraltar, this is an opportunity to discover new ideas, meet the founders and be part of the conversation.

You don't have to be pitching to play a part in helping a business grow. Sometimes a conversation, an introduction or a little encouragement can make a real difference.
