We are teaming up with The Nautilus Project this June. Based in Gibraltar, their aim is to raise marine environmental issues with the local public to help craft the changes required for a better future! Rallying up our network on 27th June at 6pm CET at Eastern Beach for a sustainability awareness campaign and family friendly beach clean.

The Nautilus Project has been delivering environmental initiatives since we opened officially in 2016. Their goal is to provide a superior learning experience of the Gibraltar marine environment for our community. They aim to improve awareness of environmental issues through learning at schools or in small private groups.

The Great Gibraltar Beach Cleans (#TGGBC) were launched in February 2018. These events are done on a rotational basis covering the whole of the Gibraltar coastline. Over 3 tonnes of plastic have already been removed from our shoreline. TNP provide buckets and gloves to collect the refuse.

As a charity, there is an £100 suggested donation to help support the educational outreach. Charity Bank details will be made available upon request.

A participation certificate will be handed out at the end of the beach clean, send an email to denise.matthews@startupgrind.com to participate.
