We’re bringing the Startup Grind community together for a relaxed Thursday evening (5:30–7:30pm) of padel and networking at Racket Barn, Govan. It’s the perfect way to shake off the workday, get moving, and connect with others an alternative to heading straight to the pub.
Whether you’ve played before or have never picked up a racket, this session is designed to be fun, social and beginner‑friendly.
⭐ What to Expect
A simple, high‑energy hour format over 3 courts:
Welcome & warm‑up
Rotating doubles games across booked courts
Short networking breaks between rounds
New partners & opponents each rotation
Open play + conversations to finish
No scoring pressure!
🎾 Do I need experience?
Not at all!
Padel is incredibly accessible, and we’ll give a quick intro before we start. All equipment is provided.

Padel courts booked from 6-7 PM; please arrive beforehand to get changed etc.
Equipment
For personal hygiene and comfort, you’re welcome to bring your own racket.
Important
This is our first Startup Grind Padel event, so tickets will be strictly limited to keep the experience high-quality and ensure everyone gets court time. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
