This time on our panel discussion we will focus on breaking through the noise on social media. From promoting an important cause, message, personal brand, selling a product, service or pitching an idea. We will talk about content creation challenges, best practices to promote your message and what kind of content moves people to take action.
Startup Grind Glasgow are thrilled to be hosting entrepreneurs and founders: CreateGreg & Stella Airoldi.
We'll be discussing content creation and ways of breaking through the noise on social media.
Everyday, there are billions of pieces of content shared online all over the world. In all this informational overload, your message or cause could easily get lost. That means that you have to find new, creative ways of breaking through and getting found.
Whether it is through photography, audio, video or written content, you will have to discover your own voice which will connect you and your audience. That's why our panellists will tackle this issue in upcoming discussion. Greg will lead the conversation from the point of view of a filmmaker / YouTuber.
Stella will share what works and what doesn't in getting people to support her foundation.
The chat will be moderated by Alan Cie, who will also contribute his views on content creation challenges in business. By the end of this panel, you will have a clearer picture of what to do and not to when promoting your business, startup or idea. Come along and join us for the ride!

Stella is the founder of 22STARS FOUNDATION and the Netherlands based company 22STARS which is primarily focusing on creating beautiful jewellery. The jewellery is handmade from 100% recycled paper in a socially responsible manner by women in Uganda.
Following in the footsteps of her parents Stella leads a very active life and has travelled and lived all over the world. During her travels she was regularly confronted with poverty and injustice. For that reason she studied Dutch Law (LL.M in Public International law) and did an Advanced Master in Human Rights and Democratization. Stella wrote her thesis about child soldiers in Uganda and that is how her love for the people of this country started. Her creativity and wish to help the war affected people have been a direct incentive to establish 22STARS.
Stella is convinced that the best way to help people out of poverty is by making sure that they can provide for themselves. Impressed by the artistic skills of some of the women she met in Uganda she decided to help them design, market and sell their products. Her drive is a passion for fashion, a mind for business and a heart for the world!
Stella has spoken at several conferences with regards to the social work she is doing while traveling the world. The topics she covers range from how she went from Lawyer to becoming a Social Entrepreneur, how she set up her business and foundation and works remotely in the African continent. Stella talked at Nomad Cruise, Freedom Summit, CoBoat, Digital Nomad Talks, Flaks, Nomad City Las Palmas, various co-working spaces and DNX.
Greg is a filmmaker, video editor and a content creator. Originally from Poland, he practically grew up on a film set, learning the ins and outs of the creative industry. Fast forward to now, he runs a video production company in Scotland and gives small business owners tips on anything related to storytelling and content creation.
Greg is a huge proponent of sharing honest, daily business struggle and documenting the process itself. He connects with the viewers by being genuine, authentic and relatable whilst staying relevant and entertaining.
Greg shares his stories on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn daily, whilst creating his own unique YouTube series. All this despite having many day-to-day business responsibilities and client work. He inspires many small business owners to follow his footsteps by showing his commitment to producing content regularly and consistently without excuses.
Join us in November to hear how...
Stella is able to break through the noise on social media and reach people to donate and support her cause. She will also give us some guidance on the types of messaging that worked for her in the past and what content didn't perform well.
Greg's take on storytelling, building a personal brand, sharing your message and staying consistent despite challenges or lack of ideas.
By the end of this event you will have a clear idea what to do in order to promote your mission, cause or brand on social media. You will have tools to efficiently produce content that works and won't have to make all the mistakes our guests made in their journeys.
