Having done a Philosophy degree at university, Chris started out the journey into tech working for the short-lived banking giant HBOS, gaining exposure to a range of technologies, helping transform the bank's branches to browser-based systems, and introducing real-time marketing.

This led him to a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Edinburgh University. There he met the two other co-founders of Groopit which, through the twists and pivots of start-up life, led them through Hubdub and onto Fanduel.
