He is based in Edinburgh and has led businesses that have scaled across Europe, North America and ANZ. He spent 12 years leading a business that ultimately reached $100M ARR and was acquired in 2016 by a US-based infrastructure company for $500m. In addition to his experience as an operator, Alistair has been an active private investor and spent 2 years as Investment Director with a UK-wide VC investment firm, Mercia Asset Management. Most recently, Alistair was a Founding Director of the Scottish Tech Army, a volunteer-based initiative to harness the skills of the Scottish Tech sector to support organisations seeking to use digital solutions in dealing with the Covid-19 crisis and its after-effects.
