Reece Chowdhry

Reece is the Founding Partner of RLC Ventures and a multi award-winning Venture Capitalist. He began his career at EY as a technology management consultant and qualified accountant and has since founded, invested in and sold startups for over 15 years, from ideas to unicorn stages. 

Reece has a particular focus on B2B Software and Fintech. He is passionate about giving back to society via the Venture Pledge and in his spare time is partial to a round of golf and is an avid Manchester United fan.

Dr Poonam Malik

Dr Poonam Malik is an entrepreneurial business strategy leader and an investor in innovation. She is a research management professional with extensive experience of working in innovation, enterprise, governance, healthcare, business and academic sectors globally. Board Member of Scottish Enterprise; Non-Executive Director for Skills Development Scotland; Trustee of Firstport Group for Social Entrepreneurs & Governor for University Court of University of the Highlands & Islands (UHI)- with leadership roles across public, private, higher education and social enterprise sectors.

Dr Malik has an interest in entrepreneurship, skills, women empowerment and economic development. She is passionate about Diversity, Equality & Inclusive values, promoting Boardroom effectiveness and STEM career’s growth as Public Speaker with Changing the Chemistry & Equate Scotland.

Poonam brings expertise in growth of Life Sciences, Biotech, Health, Clean & Digital Technology businesses and is an investor in Innovation. She is a Syndicate Investor with Investing Women Angels, Mentor, Coach with AccelerateHER and Board-level Advisor Consultant for Technology Startup companies.
