Startup Grind Gothenburg welcomes Lena Apler, chairman and CEO of Collector AB to the stage during Gothenburg Tech Week. Apler is a two-time winner of the “Most Powerful Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by Veckans Affärer. In 2015 she went public with Collector and just recently founded Collector Ventures with an investment fund of 100 million SEK.

Startup Grind Gothenburg welcomes Lena Apler, chairman and CEO of Collector AB to the stage during Gothenburg Tech Week. Apler is a two-time winner of the “Most Powerful Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by Veckans Affärer. Together with Johan Möller she founded Colletor in 1999  and has since kept their focus on providing short credit and services to gain strong cash flow for both companies or individuals. In 2015 she went public with Collector and just recently founded Collector Ventures with an investment fund of 100 million SEK.

Apler holds a degree in economics and marketing from University of Gothenburg and SEB IHU (Internal Higher Banking Education). Throughout her career, Apler has she served as a Director of KappAhl AB, she was a member of the Election Committee of Net Entertainment AB, and currently serves as a member to the Advisory Board of GU Holding AB.

Apler says she is looking forward to owning a robot,”Ai-Lena”, to take care of all the boring repetitive stuff like tax declaration, cleaning, laundry and iron clothes.
