Angelica Inguanzo is a front-end engineer working on Daydream, Google's AR / VR team. She is passionate about film and technology, previously working at YouTube. She loves the visual aspects of engineering and the technical aspects of filmmaking. She is of Mexican / Honduran descent and an advocate for representation in the film and technology industries.
Michael Duarte earned his Bachelor of Engineering in computer systems at Instituto Tecnológico de Mexicali. Currently, as a software engineer at YouTube/Google in the Commerce Team, he works on YouTube Premium and Originals on the YouTube Android app. Prior to YouTube, he started his career as a mobile game developer at Gameloft in Mexicali and TinyCo in San Francisco. Michael likes problem-solving and creating enjoyable user interfaces, as well as attending events that support young adults starting to learn computer science.
Guillermo Quezada was born and raised in Mexico City, he attended to ITESM where he obtained a Mechatronics engineering degree. Six months after graduating, he obtained his first job in Silicon Valley.
Guillermo has been working in the software industry for over 10 years, handling multiples roles throughout his career in the areas of software development and software engineering. He has worked for Tellabs, Dell, Symantec and currently he’s working as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for Google.
Memo works actively with groups of Mexicans living abroad. He was president of EXATEC San Francisco / Bay Area and is part of Red Global MX, whose main goal is to create a community of Mexican professionals living abroad.
Karina is Engineering Manager for Wizeline. She studied Engineering in Computer Science with certification in J2EE and ITIL. Previously, Karina worked as Operations Technology Manager and People Manager at Amdocs working with critical and complex systems such as invoicing, billing and data for AT&T.
