Martin Moscosa is a product and community leader with a background in tech and education. He was the director of the Academy at Wizeline, Mexico's leading startup, where he developed tech programs and partnerships to create advanced generations of technologists in the emerging markets in Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand.
At Tec de Monterrey -LatAm's leading technical University and among the best 160 in the world and ranked as top 5 in LinkedIns Top Attractors list- Martin was able to inspire younger generations to aim for greater opportunities by rekindling the relationship with top tech companies such as Microsoft, Google and Facebook among others and increasing by over 200% the number of students applying and landing a job in such companies. Also inspired students to pursue their dreams through entrepreneurship.
Prior to his corporate life, Martin was an entrepreneur with startup Epicnest one of the first tech coworking spaces in Guadalajara, going from 178sqmt (583sqft) to over 1,000sqmt (3,300sqft) in less than a year. A thriving space that has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and startups in the past years to kickstart their projects.
In his free time, he runs Startup Grind in Guadalajara one of the biggest startup communities in the world -with prescence in over 600 cities and 125 countries - supported by Google for Startups. Martin has connected and inspired over 4,000 members locally; through his network, he has invited and made connections with key members in the ecosystem such as Santiago Zavala (500 Startups), Gabriel Charles (Wayra), Jose Rodriguez (Bitso) and others.
