About this event

Did you know that APAC is the most at risk region for losing Travel & Tourism jobs due to COVID-19?

As businesses have spent time scrambling to adapt to the extraordinary circumstances, 2021 has been a year of transition. Our session on August 26 will focus on identifying some of the trends that will shape the New Normal, especially within the Japanese travel & tourism industry.

For this discussion, we are excited to welcome Mark Cantoni and Fumiko Kato to our virtual stage. Mark is the Co-Founder & COO of Travello, a mobile social travel network & Experiences booking platform that connects travellers and experiences in destination. Kato-san is the Representative Director & CEO of WAmazing, a mobile app service for inbound foreign tourists to Japan, offering free SIM cards at the airport to help foreign visitors get around Japan.

Through this session, they will be sharing their views, experiences, the challenges they faced and the opportunities they found, as well as providing advice for entrepreneurs.

This event will be held in English.
